Sometimes, the sourcing of a suitably qualified contractor for any correction work is a tough one. I also offer several serives that complement my carpet inspection work.

Often the manufacturers and insurers that I work for also request that I undertake the recommendations outlined in the report. An example of some of these services are included for your consideration.

Some of these services have required intensive training, often overseas due to the fact our industry is too small in New Zealand to receive recognised training here.

In 2006 I was trained in the art of re tufting (re burling, U.S. terminology) in Brisbane, Australia. This work has enabled us to do onsite fault rectification and warranty work for some of the carpet manufacturers in addition to insurers, contractors and private clients with accidental pulls in their carpets.

In 2007 I was trained and certified as a Registered Carpet Inspector in Melbourne, Australia by Dr Eric Brown of the WoolSafe Group.
